Note that many museums currently have special instructions about visiting— you may need to make timed reservations. It is best to contact museums directly for the most accurate visitation information. PLEASE review the borrowing policy at the bottom of the page. Checking out a museum pass is an acceptance of the borrowing policy.

Elmwood Park Zoo
Elmwood Park Zoo The Zoo was established in 1924 when a local farmer transferred 16 acres and a small menagerie to the Borough of Norristown. It currently maintains over 100 species.
John James Audubon Center

Museum Passes Policies
- Passes may be borrowed on ADULT cards holders (age 18+) with fines below $30.
- Please show your own library card and a matching photo ID when borrowing a museum pass
- Available on a first come, first serve basis–ONE PASS PER FAMILY including passes from other libraries.
- May be reserved by phone; must be picked up within one hour.
- If you reserve by phone, make sure the person picking up matches who reserved the pass.
- 3 day loan.
- $5.00/day late fee with $85 limit.
- Must be returned to the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library circulation desk. Returning in the drop box or at another branch will result in a $5 fine
- Replacement cost for a lost museum pass is the price of the institutions library membership, which is higher than a single family membership in most cases.
- Hold requests are not authorized for Museum Passes.
